A flurry of reports have come out recently about the recruitment of Mitch McGary. Rivals.com caught up with the elite prospect, and he shared his perspective on the process.

McGary, a 6-foot-10 post player at Wolfeboro (N.H.) Brewster Academy, agreed with that he is slowing down his recruitment but denied the reports that he was on the verge of announcing a commitment to Michigan.
"I don't know where they start these rumors," said McGary about being ready to announce for Michigan. "No, I never made a decision."
Now that he is at a point where he feels he has gathered enough information about his six schools, McGary is going to let the information settle and focus on his game. He has no plans for any more visits and isn't sure if he will sign in November or wait till the Spring.
Duke, Florida, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan and North Carolina are the six schools in contention for McGary, the No. 3-ranked prospect in the Rivals150.
