Nevada Point Guard Developing Game

2005 prospect Jordan Ragan of the Southern Nevada All-Stars is working hard this summer to raise his stock. As of now the 6-foot-1, 170-pound point guard from Green Valley High School in Henderson, Nevada is hearing from five division one schools.
‘I’m hearing from Long Beach State, Santa Clara, Portland, ETSU, and Cornell,” said Ragan. “I just want to go somewhere I can play and get some minutes. I’ll go anywhere. I just want to play.”

Ragan, who is a pure point guard, is working hard on his game and his athleticism.
“I’m lifting weights a lot, trying to get stronger,” he said. “I am also working on my jumping ability and shooting over 500 jumpers a day. I have also been doing a lot of ball handling drills lately.”
Running the team and finding the open man are Ragan’s main strengths along with the ability to create a shot when his team needs a bucket.
“My greatest strength is being able to see the floor and get my teammates the ball. And I can also shoot it off the dribble pretty well.”
The next national event for the Southern Nevada All-Stars will be The Main Event in Las Vegas during July.
