Nevada gets its man

It seemed like it was just a matter of time before four-star prospect Mark McLaughlin committed to Nevada. And after a positive official visit to the Western Athletic Conference school, McLaughlin becomes the second four-star prospect headed to Nevada.
After decommitting from Washington State, McLaughlin, a 6-foot-5, 175-pound shooting guard from Kenmore (Wash.) Inglemoor High School, has been the number one recruiting target of Coach Fox's program. McLaughlin also considered Illinois and Oregon, but pulled his name off the board before he ever visited either school.

"It just feels like the right fit," said McLaughlin. "I have a good relationship with the coaches, and I've been their number one target for a while. The program is just getting better and better, and they are bringing in some really good players like Luke Babbitt. They also have been putting a lot of players into the NBA."
McLaughlin is the No. 86 ranked prospect in the Rivals150.
Mark McLaughlin scouting report:
A wiry athlete, McLaughlin has a crafty game to go along with his impressive length for the shooting gaurd position. McLaughlin is at his best in the midrange where he shoots the ball well off the dribble and can distribute with the pass. He needs to get stronger but uses his length effectively on the defensive end.
