Neltner Visited Big 10 School

Ross Neltner, a skilled 6-8, 220 pound power forward from Highlands H.S. in Ft. Thomas, Ky., has already paid an official visit to one Big 10 school.
Neltner told the Insiders Report/Rivalshoops.com that he visited Bill Carmody's Northwestern program in the spring.

He also has some interest from Michigan, Purdue, Stanford, Kentucky and Princeton this summer. Neltner took an unofficial visit to Vanderbilt, but does not include the Commodore program on his current list of schools.
"I'm just keeping all of my options open right now," Neltner said. "I want to see what everyone has to offer."
At the ABCD Camp, we liked the way that Neltner played within himself, proving himself to be a capable rebounder and outlet passer. He is a pretty nifty passer for a big man, and we are certain that we will see some more aspects of his game out in Las Vegas with the Derek Smith All-Stars.
This past season at Highlands, Neltner averaged 18 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, two steals and four blocks per game. He said he has a 3.9 GPA and scored an 1160 on the SAT and a 27 on the ACT.
Following the ABCD Camp, Neltner will wrap up the summer with the Derek Smith All-Stars in both Las Vegas at the adidas Big Time Tournament and in Florida at the AAU Nationals.
We'll keep you posted from both venues, so stay tuned.
