Nelson drawing offers

The state of Mississippi is loaded with talented underclassmen. One of those prospects is 2010 point guard Dundrecous Nelson who has offers from five regional schools.
At this point Alabama, Arkansas, UAB, Ole Miss and Mississippi State have offered the ultra athletic 5-foot-11, 180-pound guard from Jackson (Miss.) Murrah High School.

According to his travel team coach LeMond Roy of the Jackson Panthers, Alabama, Ole Miss and UAB were the first to make their way to Murrah High School this fall, and it just so happens that these three schools are at the top of Nelson's school list.
Mississippi State, Arkansas, Kansas State and USC round out Nelson's school list. Both Mississippi State and USC checked in on Nelson last week.
Although small in stature, Nelson's athleticism and scoring ability allow him to play both guard positions.
"I haven't seen a kid be able to stay in front of Dundrecous," said Coach Roy. "If he wants to get to the basket he gets to the basket. He shoots it well enough right now where defenders can't just play off him, but I expect his shot to continue to get better."
Nelson is the No. 119 ranked prospect in the Rivals150.
