Nelson Could Announce Soon

LAS VEGAS. NEVADA -- Tyrone Nelson, a developing 6-9, 205 pound power forward from Hempstead H.S. in Hempstead, Tex., said he is planning on making his decision in early August.
On Tuesday at the adidas Big Time Tournament, Nelson told Rivalshoops.com that he is currently leaning toward Baylor University in Waco. He listed Baylor, Kansas, Oklahoma and Arkansas as his top four schools, with Alabama being the only other college under consideration.

Of the schools on his list, he said that all of his top four colleges have offered scholarships.
"Baylor leads because the school has good academics and it's close to home," the soft spoken Nelson said.
Before he makes a decision, Nelson said there's a chance he could take an unofficial visit to Alabama in early August. He's already paid unofficial trips to both Baylor and Arkansas.
Following the Big Time Tournament, Nelson will wrap up the summer with John Eurey's Houston Superstars program at the Oakland Slam N Jam Elite 8. We will keep you posted on when a decision comes down the pike, so stay tuned!
