Nebraska, Midwest Schools Like Center

Nick Yelovich, a 6-9, 235 pound center from Mt. Zion H.S. in Mt. Zion, Ill., is being courted by a number of mid and high Division I programs this spring.
The junior center, who played on the Ft. Sooy team that won the title at the Charlie Weber Philadelphia Easter Hoop Fest this past weekend, told Rivalshoops.com that programs like Drake, Indiana State, Southern Illinois, St. Louis and Nebraska have been recruiting him.

Despite not being fleet afoot or a leaper, Yelovich is a big bodied five man who occupies a lot of space in the low post. He has the capability to hit short to midrange jumpers from the perimeter if left open by the defense.
Yelovich, who plans on playing for Ft. Sooy in a number of upcoming tournaments, took the ACT for the first time on Apr. 12.
Rivalshoops.com will keep you posted on Yelovich's recruitment and play as the summer evaluation period looms, so stay tuned.
