NC Combo Guard Has Favorite

Jeremy Ingram, a stocky 6-3, 193 pound combo guard from Kinston H.S. in Kinston, N.C., has attracted the attention of several ACC programs this spring.
Ingram told the Insiders Report/Rivalshoops.com that he has been offered scholarships by Georgia Tech, N.C. State, Virginia Tech and East Carolina.

Maryland and Wake Forest have also expressed interest, and it is the Terps program which has captivated much of Ingram's early attention.
"I feel comfortable with all of those schools but I really like Maryland," he said. "They came down to visit and said that their interest in me is still pretty high and that they are going to follow me during the summer."
Ingram said he won't make a decision until after the summer, so there could be quite a bit of jostling between the different schools in the weeks to come.
Last season at Kinston (where he played alongside Providence recruit Herbert Hill), Ingram averaged 18 points, six rebounds, nine assists and four steals per game.
Ingram said he has a 3.0 GPA and scored a 900 on the SAT, marks that would qualify him under initial freshman eligibility standards.
Ingram said he has been invited to the Nike All-American Camp in Indianapolis, and will also attend the AAU Nationals with the Red Storm. We will keep you posted on his progress and recruitment this summer, so stay tuned.
