LEWES, DELAWARE -- With NBA scouts in the house from around half the league, 6-10 DeAngelo Collins of Inglewood H.S. in Inglewood, Calif., picked a good time to showcase his well rounded game on Thursday night at the Slam Dunk to the Beach Tournament.

Collins was particularly dynamic in the first half on the way to a 23 point, 18 rebound performance. He scored from everywhere on the court and in almost every conceivable way. Three pointers, tip dunks, alley-oop slams, short jumpers in the lane.... You name it, Collins did it in the first half.
Collins started off the second half with a tremendously deep three pointer (probably from between 25-30 feet from the basket) to give the Sentinels an eight point lead, but was much more silent the rest of the way.
The Inglewood guards were not able to get Collins the ball in the right spots for much of the contest's final 15 minutes, so it's no surprise that Rainier Beach came back and won the game. Collins is mulling over a jump to the NBA out of high school, and he certainly did not hurt his stock on Thursday night.
