NBA Players Camp: Session four

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.- A couple players were dialed in from the outside in session four of the NBA Players Association Top 100 camp. Uncommitted wing Noel Johnson was one of those players with a hot hand.
Johnson started out the night draining threes and then started making plays off the dribble when crowded by defenders. Several of those drives resulted in buckets for his teammates. His overall composure with the basketball was impressive.

On the recruiting front, Johnson said he is wide open, but he did note that USC, Louisville and Virginia Tech are recruiting him the hardest.
Roger Franklin- The burley wing prospect was another player who shot the ball well Thursday night. He hit a number of pull up jumpers in the midrange and finished strong at the rim in transition in a 17 point effort.
Peyton Siva- Playing more as a set up man at the point guard position at camp, Siva went on a scoring binge in session four. In a matter of minutes in the second half he drained three three-pointers to tie the game up. As a playmaker, Siva has taken care of the ball and done a nice job of distributing it to teammates.
Jon Hood- The lanky Kentucky commitment had a strong day offensively, scoring 13 points in each of his games. Hood has the ability to score in numerous ways. The next step for Hood is to build up his body and develop a more physical edge to his game in order to max out on his ability.
Tyler Haws- A gritty competitor, Hawes finds a way to make positive plays for his team. Last night he made an impact scoring the basketball.
Dalton Pepper- The Philadelphia wing has been solid here this week and last night he looked very good shooting the ball from behind the arc.
Anthony Marshall- A strong athlete, Marshall has done a nice job handling the basketball and getting it to teammates this week. He hasn't been a big scorer with most of his buckets occurring at the rim off slashing drives, but he is a big time contributor in all the other aspects of the game.
Maalik Wayns- Wayns has impressed this week with his physical and athletic play at the point guard position. He constantly maintains pressure on the opposing point guard with his intense defense and ability to penetrate the lane with the basketball. Capable of hitting the three and playing the set up roll, Wayns has worked his way to the rim more than any guard at the camp.
Christian Watford- Shooters with length are a valued commodity, and this is exactly what Watford is. He does need to get stronger and improve defensively, but he is a serious scoring threat on the offensive end.
Garrick Sherman- The Michigan State bound big man has consistently scored throughout the camp. Long and skilled, Sherman looks destined to have a productive college career. He scores the ball in the low post and handles the ball with poise in the high post.
