Naymick Closing In On Decision

Drew Naymick, a well built 6-10, 230 pound power forward/center from North Muskegon H.S. in North Muskegon, Mich., is in the process of trying to make a decision. "I am down to Michigan, Michigan State, Stanford, and Ohio State," Naymick said. "I have spoken to all of the schools but one."
Naymick has yet to speak to Ohio State this week. It's likely he will chat with the Buckeyes one more time and then make his decision official. "I kind of have a school in mind but I can still change it," Naymick said. "That's why I haven't made my decision. Because I am not ready yet."

Naymick said he could have a decision tonight or tomorrow. "I have seen all four schools," Naymick said. "Academics is part of it. I want to be comfortable with the staff and feel right about the school."
A broad shouldered redhead, Naymick has particularly fine touch around and facing the basket, and has a solid low post game with his back to the tin. He moves adequately and seems to be pretty coordinated.
Naymick plans to attend the adidas Big Time Tournament in Las Vegas. This past season, Naymick averaged 22 points, 11 rebounds and six blocks per game. A terrific student, he holds a 3.63 GPA and has notched a 29 score on the ACT. "I think after the NIKE camp I proved I can play with the best players in the country," Naymick said.
