Nasir Robinson makes his choice

Four-star 2008 prospect Nasir Robinson didn't want to drag out his recruitment any longer than he need to. The 6-foot-5, 210-pound guard from Chester (Pa.) High School will take his physical style to the Big East.
"Nasir has been looking at Pittsburgh for a while, and Pittsburgh has been there since the beginning," said Chester head coach Fred Pickett. "He has developed a good relationship with the staff there and enjoyed his time on campus. He felt comfortable and had no reservations about going there, so instead of prolonging the process, he ended it."

Robinson, who chose Pittsburgh over interest from Villanova and Kentucky, has been sidelined for most of the season with a knee injury. He got back on the court after the Holidays and is coming along nicely according to Pickett.
A physical and hardnosed competitor, Robinson is a prototypical Pittsburgh type player. He defends and rebounds with a passion and loves to attack the basket off the dribble.
Robinson is the No. 45 ranked prospect in the class of 2008.
Nasir Robinson scouting report:
Physical and competitive, Robinson brings a game to the court similar to Syracuse freshman Paul Harris. Robinson loves to defend and rebound, is powerful and skilled with the ball and has excellent court vision. He does, however, have a lot of work to do on his outside jumpshot.
