Nance focused on three Big Ten programs
Three-star forward Pete Nance is beginning to emerge as a special talent out of the 2018 class. A 6-foot-9, slim but skilled forward, Nance is the younger brother of Los Angeles Lakers forward Larry Nance Jr. Nance Jr. went to Wyoming.
Nance plays with his best friends on the Akron Bobcats travel program and won't be suiting up on any shoe sponsored circuit. That is largely why he remains a relatively unknown commodity, though Michigan, Purdue and Northwestern have already begun to prioritize the super versatile and promising junior out of Ohio.

Nance discussed each of his Big Ten suitors in detail:
Michigan: “I just really like the coaches and the players seem like great guys and everyone just seems pretty awesome. I have been up there just one time; I think it is really cool. They have a nice program.”
Purdue: “I think they have a really good game strategy. They adjust their offenses and defenses really well to other teams, so I really like that.”
Northwestern: “I really love their coaches a lot. That is a big thing with me. I haven’t been able to meet their players yet when I was up there for a few hours, but I would love to get up there more.”
WHAT'S NEXT?
It will be difficult to find Nance this summer unless you look for him as he will finish the summer on a well-coached Akron Bobcats travel squad.
When it comes to his recruitment, Nance has an idea to how he wants things to go.
“I would think I am going to be pretty busy this summer, so I am looking at around the fall to know where I am going to go,” he said. “I am probably going to want to narrow it down soon, though.”
RIVALS' REACTION
Nance could be one of the top risers this summer. While he won’t be as easy to find compared to others, there is no doubting his talent. Nance can act as a playmaker on the offensive end as he can shoot it from deep, but also properly and precisely run the high ball screen. Toss in the bloodlines and Nance is a special prospect.
It would be an upset if he does not end up at Michigan, Purdue or Northwestern.
