N.C. State picks up Georgia senior

Sidney Lowe and his staff at North Carolina State have been pounding the pavement in hopes of finding some backcourt help. They hope that they've found by picking up a commitment from JaQawn Raymond.
A 6-foot-4 shooting guard from Statesboro (Ga.) High, Raymond committed Sunday while on his official visit to N.C. State's Raleigh campus Sunday.

While Raymond comes from off the radar, he had been developing some buzz this spring. He's got good length, can shoot with range and is a high rising finisher in transition.
Raymond had visited Jacksonville officially and Clemson unofficially before giving N.C. State the nod. He joins a class that already includes Tyler Harris and Joseph Uchebo.
