Murray Finishes In Style

It was an up and down year for Walter Murray, a 6-0 guard from Our Savior American in Centereach, New York. Murray, who had an outstanding junior year, had to work through some nagging injuries this past season. But he finished in grand style on senior night this past weekend at Our Savior's gym. Murray recorded 25 points to help Our Savior crush Redemption Christian Academy.
Murray, who played for Riverside Church during last summer, is a high energy guard who can torch you for 30 if given the opportunity to shoot the ball. In his last game for Our Savior, Murray did just that.

Murray, a lefty long-range shooting guard, has a quick release and possesses great confidence in his offensive game. He remains open in his recruiting process. Due to the nagging injuries and lack of playing time, Murray's recruiting slid. But he is talented enough to play on the division one level.
Previously, Quinnipiac, Rider, Rutgers, and Hartford were some of the schools looking at Murray's skills. What Murray brings to the table: Murray is a scorer. He can score points in bunches. Murray showed us he has nice range on his jumper and is very agile. He is very active and confident in his shot.
