Mountaineers pick up Indianapolis SG

West Virginia wanted to make sure they landed a shooter in the class of 2012. Bob Huggins and his staff got him on Sunday when Eron Harris committed during his official visit.
A 6-foot-3 shooting guard from Indianapolis (Ind.) Lawrence North, Harris felt there was a need for him in Morgantown.

"I just feel like I'm needed there," Harris told Rivals.com. "Their coaching staff is straight up with you. The guys are real cool and they are willing to take me in right away."
Relatively unknown headed into the summer, Harris was outstanding during several key events with Indiana Elite.
A catch and shoot specialist, the three-star two guard is also a tough perimeter defender and has the athleticism to finish in traffic.
"I am a physical, hard nose player," said Harris. "I can drive it and knock down a shot."
Harris chose the Mountaineers over Dayton.
