Morris twins focused on three

There has been a lot of speculation about the school list of Marcus Morris and Markieff Morris since their decommitment from Memphis. On Wednesday, Marcus Morris said his brother and he are down to three schools.
"We're down to Villanova, Kansas and St. John's," said Marcus, who is a 6-foot-7, 215-pound forward. "We should have a decision by the end of the month and are going to visit these three schools this month. We haven't set any dates yet, but more than likely we will go to Kansas for midnight madness."

The trip to the Midwest will be pivotal for Kansas, since the twins are less familiar with Kansas as they are the other two schools on their list.
"We just don't know Kansas like we know the other schools," said Marcus. "We will find out more when we visit, but we do like their fast style of play.
"Villanova is like family. It's a nice environment, and we've known the coaches for a long time.
"And we like St. John's because they need some size at the forward position. We could add some size to their line up and help them a lot."
Markieff Morris, the bigger of the two, is a 6-foot-8, 225-pound power forward and the No. 74 ranked prospect in the Rivals150. Marcus Morris is the No. 37 ranked prospect in the Rivals150.
Both are attending Pennsauken (N.J.) APEX Academies, where the focus is on individual development.
"We are lifting a lot and working on our skills," said Marcus. "We haven't done any full court stuff. Our coach isn't concerned about winning and losing. He's concerned about us getting better."
