Class of 2012 three-star forward Brandon Morris won't be for from home playing his college basketball in the SEC.
Morris, 6-foot-7, 19-pounds from Lithonia (Ga.) Miller Grove High School committed to Georgia on Monday after a weekend visit to Athens.
"After the visit this weekend, they laid everything out for him and he felt really comfortable with them as far as how they see him fitting in," Miller Grove coach Sharman White told Dan McDonald of GAVarsity.com.. "He had a great time up there this weekend but, more importantly, they were able to map out how they are going to use him."
Georgia now has three prospects in its 2012 recruiting class. Shooting guards Kenny Gaines and Charles Mann, who are also in-state prospects join Morris in the Bulldogs' recruiting class.
Morris was also being recruited by Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Kansas State and Tennessee along with Georgia
