Morris drawing coaches to Jacksonville
While there are still programs scrambling to find guys for the Spring signing period, most programs have turned the bulk of their attention to the class of 2012 and beyond. One junior who is seeing increased attention because of that is Carlos Morris.
An athletic 6-foot-5 wing, Morris has had a big junior campaign for Rex Morgan at Jacksonville (Fla.) Arlington Country Day.

"I play like a big, slashing guard," Morris told Rivals.com. "I'm athletic, I can be a secondary ball handler, anything the coach asks me to do, I think I can help."
With his athleticism, long and lean frame and ability to shoot from the corners, the three-star wing is a tough cover. But, he's still working on improving.
"I can shoot and I can attack the rim," said Morris. "I think my first step is quick. But, I need to get my strength and ball handling up. I've still got a lot of work to do."
Not surprisingly, the college coaches have come calling and they've been showing up to watch him play. Morris mentioned offers from Cincinnati, Miami and Georgia State while he's hearing plenty from schools like Georgia, Seton Hall and Missouri among others.
At this point in his junior year, Morris isn't close to cutting down his list. He likes the increased attention and says that he's willing to listen to anybdody who wants to talk to him.
When it does come time to cut things down, he already knows what he'll ask about.
"First of all, I ask them about what their education is like and how many kids they graduate," said Morris. "On the court, I ask about who is there at my position, how many minutes are there and who they are recruiting."
