Morgan looking like next tough Philly guard

The well isn't dry at Prep Charter in Philadelphia. Class of 2009 guard Jesse Morgan is next in line at the school and the 6-foot-4 guard has the high-majors looking closely this season.
According to Prep Charter head coach Dan Brinkley, Morgan is much improved this year and has steadily improved since his sophomore year. This year should be more productive from a scoring perspective now that the Morris twins – Marcus and Markieff – are off to prep school.

"He's a great combo guard and he's doing fabulous," Brinkley said.
"His strength is better and his body is definitely different. He's much stronger and I don't think he knows much different he is. Jesse is going to be more of a scoring option this year for us. His scoring prowess will come more to the forefront. Last year he did a great job of not trying to take games over by himself and took care of everyone. He understood the game plan was to work everything through the twins. This year, he's picked up the torch of being the number one scoring option."
According to Brinkley, Miami, West Virginia, Penn State, Temple, St. Joseph's, Georgia Tech, Delaware, Virginia Tech and Nebraska have either been in to see Morgan play or have contacted him about the junior.
"His list is wide open," Brinkley said. "He's young and it's early for him."
Morgan and class of 2011 combo guard Ameen Tanksley look to be the one of the top backcourts in Philadelphia this upcoming season.
