More Visits For JUCO Forward

Kerbrell Brown, a 6-7, 210 pound forward from Dodge City C.C. in Dodge City, Kan., will take his second official visit in as many weeks this upcoming weekend.
JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops.com caught up with Dodge City Head Coach Brian Hoberecht, and he said that Brown just got back from a trip to South Carolina and will visit New Mexico this weekend.

"There have been other people who have called, but right now, Kerbrell does not want to let anybody else in," Hoberecht said.
Brown was recently denied admission to Oregon State, which is the school he signed with back in the fall. By not being admitted to the school, his letter of intent became null and void and basically made him a free agent to sign with any other college without penalty.
"It has worked out good for all of us, because it's a clean cut and there are no hard feelings," Hoberecht said. "Everybody should be happy and can be happy."
Former Oregon State Head Coach Ritchie McKay is now the new head coach at New Mexico, so it's not surprising that the Lobos would be involved with Brown this spring.
"I think Kerbrell had a good trip to South Carolina, he felt comfortable there," Hoberecht said. "He is anticipating his trip to New Mexico, and seeing Coach McKay and what that program has to offer."
Brown will leave for Albuquerque on Thursday, May 4 and return to Dodge City on Saturday, May 6. He will likely make a decision shortly after his trip to New Mexico.
A native of New Orleans, La., Brown swung between both forward positions the past two years at Dodge City. He was the Conquistadors' leading scorer and rebounder this past season, as he averaged 15.8 points and six rebounds per contest.
We will keep you posted on his decision, so stay tuned to this site for more infomation
