More On Villanuevas Sickness

Apparently, Charlie Villanueva, RivalsHoops.com's third ranked player in the 2003 class, hasn't been feeling well for a while. Two weekends ago, Villanueva helped lead Blair Academy to two victories at the War at the Shore in Delaware. But a source close to Villanueva told us Charlie wasn't feeling well even at this event.
Villanueva became so sick he went to the emergency room last week to see what was wrong. Many around him thought it was a bad case of the flu. Now many who know him best indicate to RivalsHoops.com that he may have mono.

The Illinois staff was in Delaware two weeks ago to show their unconditional love to Villanueva, who has given a verbal commitment to Bill Self. Villanueva has told RivalsHoops.com that he will honor the commitment by signing in April if his NBA options run dry.
Villanueva, a multi-talented forward from New York City, did not make an appearance against Josh Boone and West Nottingham due to sickness last night. RivalsHoops.com was in attendance at this game.
Recently, there were over half a dozen NBA Scouts at Blair's game against Our Savior New American of Centereach, New York. More NBA scouts were on hand again when Blair beat up on Notre Dame Academy of Virginia in a Tommy Jacobs Memorial Shootout game at the War on the Shore.
