More On Sean Dockerys Decision

Sean Dockery, a 6-3 point guard from Julian High School in Chicago, Illinois, told the Insiders Report he expects to officially announce for Duke University tomorrow. However, Dockery (pictured right) still does not have a qualifying test score.

"I am waiting for my results," Dockery said. "I felt very comfortable in taking the test."
Dockery told us that Duke is one of the great programs in the country. "I have always dreamed of playing for such a program," Dockery said. "They have great coaches and great players."
Dockery had previously considered Illinois, Michigan State, and Florida. He had said only a week ago he planned on taking four official visits to those programs.
"I knew this was the right time," Dockery said. "Everything about Duke I love. I can't wait to play for them."
Dockery said he is going to work hard on his jumper this summer. "I have been improving it this spring," Dockery said. "I just want to make myself a better player overall."
Dockery said he is glad he has made his decision now. "It was a little tiring handling all the phone calls," Dockery said. "But now I just want to focus on playing this summer and my schoolwork."
It's likely Jason Williams will be leaving Duke after his junior year. Williams has been working hard on graduating in three years so he can get his degree and apply early for the June 2002 NBA draft.
"It's going to be great even without Jason," Dockery said. "I want to have a chance to play with Chris Duhon. He is a great guard. It would be fun to play with him in the backcourt."
