More On Donnie McGraths Decision

Donnie McGrath, a 6-2 combo guard from JFK High School in Somers, NY, committed to Providence College today.
McGrath, who could not be reached for comment tonight, is a very good get for the Friars. He will fit in nicely with the system head coach Tim Welsh has in place at Providence College.

McGrath's family confirmed the commitment to the Friars. Donnie has had a solid spring and is ready for his summer.
McGrath played for the New York Ravens at the Rumble in the Bronx on the campus of Fordham University. McGrath, who was injured and did not play many minutes in the BABC Invitiational final, had a very good weekend in Rose Hill Gym. He seemed very confident in his shot and make good decisions when he was leading the transition.
His team got knocked out in the semifinals, a game McGrath and his mates would like to forget. But put aside that game, and McGrath had a solid weekend. He gave the Ravens a big boost in the quarterfinals against the Long Island Panthers. McGrath scored 15 points and hit a couple of big shots in the second half.
McGrath expects to compete with the Ravens throughout this summer.
McGrath did previously mention interest in St. John's, Seton Hall, Villanova, and Massachusetts.
