More offers for Harris

Coming off a strong performance at the Nike Peach Jam, 2010 prospect Tobias Harris has picked up four new offers.
A 6-foot-7, 220-pound forward from Dix Hills (N.Y.) Half Hollow Hills West High School, Harris has yet to develop a formal school list but is now up to 13 high major offers.

"I like all the schools the same right now," said Harris. "The schools, though, that have just offered are Wake Forest, Florida State, Syracuse, and my dad said that Texas is the newest school to offer."
In September Harris plans to formulate a school list and then have a decision by next summer. He broke down the top factors he will consider when he makes his school choice.
"I'm looking for a coaching staff that will personally try to make me better," he said. "I want to play for a coach who is going to be on me and not just have a laid back personality. Academics are important, and being comfortable at the school is a major key. I also want to play in an up and down system where the guards have the freedom to take advantage of their man and shooting the ball is a big part of the system."
Harris, the No. 90 ranked prospect in the class of 2010, also has offers from Arizona, Baylor, Connecticut, Indiana, Louisville, Marquette, Maryland, Miami and Rutgers.
Tobias Harris scouting report:
Still physically developing, Harris has an advanced skill level as a hybrid forward. He handles the ball at a high level and can score it with touch from the outside and also score inside with more of a power game. Best suited to guard a four man, Harris is a difficult match up for opposing four men with his versatile skill set.
