More interest in unsigned Alabama guard

It often pays for a prospect to wait until the late signing period, and this appears to be the case for Larry Williams of Altamont High School in Birmingham, Ala. Williams, a 6-foot-2, 160-pound combo guard, is now garnering interest from a couple top in-state schools.
Auburn and UAB are the latest schools to get involved with Williams. Auburn has expressed interest through Williams' high school coach, and UAB have been to a couple games this season.

"I'm looking at Auburn, UAB, Rice and Birmingham Southern," said Williams. "Right now I like Auburn and UAB the most.
"Auburn has a young team and the program is getting better. I like what Coach Lebo is doing. I had a chance to meet him at the Tip Off Club when I received my state player of the week award.
"I like UAB's up and down, fast style of play. Also, they are losing seven seniors."
Williams has had a highly successful senior campaign. He is averaging 19.5 points, 4.5 assists, 4 rebounds and 4 steals per game. Even more importantly, Altamont is 25-3 and ranked number one in Class AA.
Tonight Williams faces a defining match up against UAB signee Taurus Dortch and Ramsey High School.
