More Highs Take Look At Noah

It's been a wonderful ride so far this spring and summer for Joakim Noah, a thin, 6-foot-10, 200-pound forward. Noah, currently competing at the ADIDAS ABCD camp in Teaneck, New Jersey, chalked up 11 points and 11 rebounds in his first game yesterday afternoon. Noah was recently added to the Rivals150 (No. 91) for his terrific play over the past couple of months for the Long Island Panthers AAU team.
"I am having a lot of fun," Noah said. "I have a good team to play with here. It's a good experience to play against so many good players."

And Noah has to also be listed in the category of "good" players. He works hard at both ends of the court. Despite his thin frame, he does a good job at getting to loose balls inside the paint. Joakim also runs the floor well and is getting better defensively each day. Bigger bodies do try to pound him inside but he pounds back. "I have to get stronger," Noah said. "I am working on that too this summer."
Noah, plays during the high school season at Poly Prep in Brooklyn, New York, continues to see high major programs getting involved. "North Carolina State, Maryland, Georgia Tech, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh, West Virginia, St. Joe's, Providence, Boston College and Rutgers are schools I am interested in," Noah said. "I am still open."
Many of these programs are just starting to take a serious look at Noah, who has proven to have a good pair of hands and a nice touch around the hoop. Due to these two important skills and his ability to run the floor like a guard, Noah is becoming a target for several division one programs. Add in Noah's mobility, energy, and athleticism, and courage and this makes him a winner.
According to Noah, West Virginia, Providence, and St. Joe's have offered scholarships.
