More High D-1s Jump In On Noah

The offers keep rolling in for Joakim Noah, who has blown up at the ADIDAS ABCD camp. Noah, 6-foot-10 from Poly Prep in Brooklyn, New York, has shown he belongs in the top 100 on every list in America because of his play in Teaneck, New Jersey.
"It's a great camp," Noah said. "It's fun to play against the best players across the country."

Noah has not only competed but has outbattled many other big names here at the camp. He has long arms, a thin frame but a big heart. Noah usually lands every loose ball within five or six feet of the basket. And he can score too. He dropped in 14 points in his first eight minutes of play in one session game yesterday.
Coaches have taken notice too. Whenever Noah plays here at the camp, a large group of coaches swarm the area around the basket. Yesterday, this site reported schools like Virginia and Indiana were interested.
Head coach Pete Gillen and Indiana head coach Mike Davis were around to watch Noah. But there were several other high division one programs watching. It's likely that Noah's list will have a new look by the time he plays in his next event.
"I am just staying focused on each game," Noah said. "Once the camp ends then I can think about it more."
What Noah will have to think about is the many more offers he will get from the high division one programs. Each year there are a few players that have this happen. And Noah, who was a ball boy at this camp five years ago, is now one of the players he once admired.
