Moore Gets Offer

Chris Moore, a 6-5, 175-pound shooting guard from McKinney High School in McKinney, Texas, in the Dallas area, has received a scholarship offer from Tulane, according to his father, Bryan Moore. "They are his leading choice right now," Mr. Moore said. Other schools that have been recruiting Moore are Baylor, New Mexico, Air Force and Brown.

RivalsHoops.com's Brian Towey reported earlier that Moore, playing for Team Texas, had emerged as one of the top shooters at last month's Rumble in the Bronx. He connected on five three-pointers en route to 21 points in Team Texas' win over the CAS Warriors at the Rumble.
Towey said that Moore seems more comfortable catching and shooting the ball as opposed to scoring off the dribble. He has a lighting-quick release with an ability to free himself up for deep balls.
Moore, who will go to Maine Central Institute for a post-graduate year in the fall, next will participate in the 17 and under nationals in Orlando. He carries a 3.52 GPA.
