Chris Moore, a 6-5, 175-pound sniper from McKinney High School in McKinney, Texas, in the Dallas area, emerged as one of the top shooters at this past weekend's Rumble in the Bronx playing for Team Texas.

Moore, who will go to Maine Central Institute for a post-graduate year in the fall, connected on five three-pointers en route to 21 points in Team Texas' win over the CAS Warriors. Moore, who seems more comfortable catching and shooting the ball as opposed to scoring off the dribble, displayed a lighting-quick release and an ability to free himself up for deep balls.
Against the New York Ravens, Moore was shadowed by high major prospect Daon Merritt from St. Raymond's, a physical, pesky defender, but Moore still showed the ability to free himself up for the shot.
Moore told RivalsHoops.com that he has heard from Baylor, that New Mexico had expressed interest under Fran Fraschilla, and that he has recently begun hearing from Air Force and Brown.
Moore will head to the Peach Jam in Atlanta with Team Texas, and participate in the 17 and under nationals in Orlando.
Moore carries a 3.52 scholastic GPA. He has not yet taken the SAT.
