Mobley Taking Trip

Prentice Mobley, a 6-0, 155 pound point/combo guard from Florida C.C. in Jacksonville, Fla., is currently taking a recruiting trip to the University of Dayton.
FCC-J Head Coach Greg Gierke informed JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops.com that Mobley's visit to Dayton will last from Apr. 5-7. In addition to the Flyer program, Mobley has already taken visits to New Orleans and Georgia Southern.

Manhattan and Florida Atlantic are trying to secure the last two official visits out of Mobley this spring, Gierke said.
Mobley enjoyed a terrific sophomore campaign, leading the state of Florida in scoring. He also became FCC-J's all-time leading scorer and broke half of the school's scoring records, Gierke said.
"He's the best player who has ever played for me," the coach said. "He's really a point guard at the highest levels."
"He's a good ball handler with a better than two to one assists to turnover ration," Gierke continued. "He's a good scoring point guard who played both one and two for me."
Mobley plans on making a spring decision, and Gierke said that his star player was pretty open coming into this weekend's trip to Dayton.
Rivalshoops.com will keep you posted on Mobley's situation as the spring signing period looms on Wednesday, April 10, so stay tuned.
