Mix of schools tracking Steward

Returning from an MVP performance in last year's state tournament, Arthur Steward of Natrona Co. High School in Casper, Wyo., is being recruited by a mix of mid and high-majors. The level that Steward, a 6-foot-4,200-pound wing player, will play at is largely dependant on the progress of his jump shot.
"Arthur is the best perimeter defender I have ever coached," said Steward's AAU coach Dave Matthews of the Colorado Chaos. "Offensively he's aggressive and gets to the rim really well.

"His jumper is starting to improve. If he gets his jumper more consistent, he's a definite high-major kid."
Presently, Steward is getting serious interest from Colorado State, Wyoming, Denver, UNLV, Iowa State and Washington State according to Coach Matthews.
"Arthur is a hard working, personable kid from a good family," added Matthews about Steward.
As a sophomore, Steward averaged 14 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists per game.
