Mitchell is searching for answers

Alvin Mitchell knows has a lot of decisions to make in the next couple of weeks.
Does he take more visits? Does he wait until the spring to sign? What to do next? The 6-foot-5, 205-pound wing from Cardinal Gibbons High School in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., will try to answer those questions in the near future.

After shining at the Breakdown Battle for the Rankings camp, Mitchell says he thinks his recruitment will boost back to what it looked like at the end of July – full of high-major schools looking for him to take an official visit.
"After this tournament, me and my AAU coaches are going to sit down and talk about where I'm at because I know I'll probably be getting some new calls and things like that," Mitchell said. "Everything is now open. I think I did really well on my SAT and I look forward to talking to anyone that wants to talk to me."
Mitchell officially visited Virginia Tech and has a couple of other programs on his must-see list.
"I'm trying to reschedule with Rutgers and most likely I'll visit Memphis," Mitchell said. "I'd like to go up as soon as possible to get the visits out of the way. I'm looking at Pittsburgh and that's about the only ones that I'm still talking to."
Now the question comes – will he sign or early or wait.
"I'm trying to figure that out," Mitchell said. "I'd like to get everything done so I can focus on my grades and my schoolwork."
Mitchell knows he needs to find answers and the quicker the better.
