Mitchell An Athletic Combo Guard
Marqus Mitchell, a very athletic 5-11, 185 pound combo guard from State Fair C.C. in Sedalia, Mo., has attracted quite a bit of Division I recruiting interest this fall.
State Fair Asst. Coach Derek Witt informed Rivalshoops.com that the University of San Francisco has offered Mitchell, who hails from Baton Rouge, La. Others who have expressed interest include UW-Milwaukee, Stephen F. Austin, Louisiana-Lafayette and Louisiana-Monroe.

At the recent Central Missouri State JUCO Jamboree, Mitchell impressed us with his ability to elevate and penetrate. While his decision-making isn't always crisp, Mitchell can handle the ball well and kicks out to open shooters on the wing off dribble penetration.
Mitchell is expected to sign late, and Rivalshoops.com will stay on top of his recruitment this winter and into the spring. Stay tuned.
