Missouri Back In The Mix For Holland

For Justin Holland, the recruiting process has been somewhat of an up and down period. Early on, several schools expressed a great deal of interest in the 6-foot-1, 175-pound combo guard from Landmark Christian High School in Atlanta, GA., but eventually decided to back off. With the AAU summer circuit right around the corner, several schools have a newfound interest in the talented combo guard.
“Missouri has really been showing a lot of interest in Justin lately. They were interested in him early on, but kind of backed away for a period of time,” Landmark Christian High School Head Coach Brian Bartley said. “They called me during the contact period and want to come out in April and spend a little time with Justin. The Missouri coaching staff is coming on extremely fast and they are interested in Justin.”

Coach Bartley feels that Holland is the type of player that has the ability to excel at a school like Missouri, but he does not want his star combo guard to rush any decisions about his future.
“I know that Justin is capable of playing at a program like Missouri, but it might be over his head right now,” Coach Bartley said. “A lot of other schools are showing interest right now, so I want to make sure that he takes his time with this. Appalachian St., Gardner-Webb, George Mason and Wisconsin-GB are some of the other schools showing a lot of interest in Justin right now, so I want him to take his time with this decision.”
Coach Bartley indicated that Holland would spend the summer running with the Atlanta Celtics AAU organization.
