Minter Talks About UVA

Donte Minter, a 6-8 power forward/center from Fork Union Military Academy in Virginia, spoke to RivalsHoops.com about his recent decision to make a verbal commitment.
"I chose Virginia because I felt it was the best place for me to have a chance to contribute," Minter said. "I liked the campus and the coaches on the visit. I got along great with the players."

Minter, at 230 pounds, is likely to make a contribution inside. "I feel I can help out where Travis Watson does for Virginia," Minter said. "I think I can help them scoring inside."
Virginia is likely to continue to pursue a forward who can also face the basket and score some points from the perimeter too. So Minter should have more help along the frontline.
"Virginia is a great school," Minter said. "It was a tough choice. I also considered Marquette. They are both great schools."
