Tack Minor, a jet-quick 5-10, 186 pound scoring point guard from Houston, Texas, committed to LSU, according to Tack's family. Tack's mom told RivalsHoops.com that her son is very happy to have made a decision and looks forward to playing for coach John Brady in the SEC.
Minor previously considered Oklahoma, Texas, Arizona, Cincinnati and Louisiana State.
The Texan is also a good student. He gets A's and B's and scored 1280 on the SAT. "I plan to major in computer technology," he told Denny Conroy in a previous interview.
Minor played with the Houston Hoops program. During the July evaliation period he attended the Nike All-American Camp, the Peach Jam, the AAU Super Showcase and the AAU Nationals. He also was selected to participate in USA Basketball's Fifth Annual Men's Youth Development Festival in June.
