Minnesota PG Names Favorite

Kammron Taylor, a 6-2, 175 pound point guard from Minneapolis North H.S. in Minneapolis, Minn., runs the show for the very successful Howard Pulley Panthers program.
Taylor spoke to the Insiders Report/Rivalshoops.com at this past weekend's Rumble in the Bronx, and shared some insight into his recruiting process.

"Right now, I am still kind of wide open, but one of my early favorites is Wisconsin, because they started recruiting me early back in my sophomore year," Taylor said. "I really like the coaching staff and I get along with them. I am not saying that I am going to go there, but right now they are my top pick."
Taylor said that he has been offered scholarships thus far by Wisconsin, Minnesota, Houston and Wyoming. Others who have expressed interest include Michigan State, Maryland, Iowa State, Kansas State, Boston College, Connecticut, Marquette, Florida, South Carolina and UNLV.
"I either want to play in the Big 10, Big East or ACC," Taylor said.
Taylor is the consummate point guard who looks to run the show and set his teammates up. He is blessed with decent quickness, a solid handle, and excellent court awareness.
This past season at North H.S., he averaged 20 points, four rebounds, five assists and three steals per game. He said he carries a 3.0 GPA and took the ACT for the first time on June 8.
Taylor has unofficially visited both Wisconsin and Minnesota, and plans on taking some official visits in the fall. In the meantime, he is prepping for a very busy summer that will include pit stops at the Nike Peach Jam and the AAU Super Showcase.
