Milwaukee native picks Marquette

In order to prepare himself for college ball, Deonte Burton had to leave his Milwaukee home.
Now preparing for his junior season at Wolfeboro (N.H.) Brewster Academy, the 6-foot-5 wing has decided that he will head back to his native Milwaukee to play his college ball.
Friday night, Burton made a verbal pledge to Buzz Williams and Marquette.
An aggressive and athletic wing, Burton is a perfect match for Williams' program. Capable of making plays off of the dribble, a good rebounder and a relentless competitor, Burton is one of those guys who keeps coming at opponents.
Additionally, his toughness, athleticism and physical strength allow him to play bigger than his size making him versatile on both ends of the floor.
A four-star prospect, Burton currently ranks #45 nationally in the 2013 Rivals150.
