Milligan A Force On The Boards

Many college coaches are trying to figure out how high a level Dante Milligan, a 6-8, 200 pound combination/power forward from Trinity Pawling H.S. in Pawling, N.Y., should be.
Milligan does have nice size and appears to be very agile. But the question was how much of a living Milligan would need to make inside to make it at a high level. Dante has proven to be a tough warrior at the ABCD camp. He banged up his left shoulder a bit but still came out and played two games yesterday. In a game against the 76ers, Milligan scored eight points but grabbed 17 rebounds, including seven on the offensive glass.

Milligan told us he is interested in Providence, George Washington, Georgia Tech, Massachusetts, and Stanford. "I'm still open," Milligan said. "I am not ruling out anybody right now."
Whether or not those programs seriously recruit Milligan come the fall will depend upon whether Dante continues to elevate his game. So far Dante has taken some improved steps in that direction.
This past season for Bill Casson's Trinity Pawling program, Milligan averaged 16 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and four blocks per game.
A solid student in the classroom, Milligan said he has a 3.5 GPA.
