Miller Has Crossover Recruitment

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA -- Jai Miller, a strong and aggressive 6-3, 188 pound combo guard from Selma H.S. in Selma, Ala., has narrowed his list to just six colleges this summer.
Miller, who is also a football standout, told the Insiders Report/Rivalshoops.com that he has football and basketball interest from Georgia Tech, Stanford, Alabama, Auburn and Louisiana State. The only school recruiting him for basketball only is Mississippi State.

Thus far, Miller has taken unofficial trips to Alabama, Auburn and LSU. He is planning to officially visit Stanford in the fall, assuming he can fit it into his hectic schedule during the football season.
One thing is for sure, wherever Miller goes, he will take a football scholarship (save MSU) and then walk onto the basketball program in the winter.
"I am really interested in the academics at Stanford, but the lure of the instate schools (Auburn, Alabama) is going to be hard to pass up."
On the hardwood this past season at Selma H.S., Miller averaged 18 points, eight rebounds, six assists and three steals per game.
Here at the Big Time Tournament, he's led the Alabama Ice to a stellar 3-0 pool play record. His strong penetrating creates for others on his very balanced and unselfish Ice squad.
On top of being a top notch athlete, Miller is very solid in the classroom. He said he has a 3.8 GPA and scored a 23 on the ACT.
Miller kicked off the summer at the adidas ABCD Camp and then played in the Alabama North/South H.S. All-Star Game. Back in mid June, he attended football camp at Auburn.
Following the Big Time, Miller will put basketball on the shelf this summer and will concentrate on the upcoming high school football season. Rivalshoops.com will keep you posted on his future plans in the weeks to come, so stay tuned!
