Milford Academy: Where Did They Go

It's been a few weeks since Milford Academy in Connecticut closed its doors for good, and former Falcon Head Coach Bob Riggio gave Rivalshoops.com an update on the whereabouts of his former players.
Lamont Hamilton (right), a 6-9 forward who's headed to St. John's, has resurfaced at Bridgton Academy in Maine. He joins Detroit native Courtney Williams, who left Milford in October and also enrolled at Bridgton this winter.

Victor Fletcher, a very athletic 6-0 guard from Brooklyn, N.Y., may have transferred to Mt. Zion Christian Academy in North Carolina, Riggio said.
Jamual Warren and Roosevelt Lee, two of Milford's top juniors, have transferred to Lutheran Christian Academy in Philadelphia, Penn. Both are native New Englanders.
Scoring lead guard Jonathan Lyles, a 6-0 native of Baltimore, Md., is planning to get his GED and attend junior college.
Vernon Goodrich, a 6-9 junior center from New York City, was ticketed for Coastal Christian in Virginia, Riggio said. But Rivalshoops.com has also heard that he might be headed to Lutheran Christian in Philadelphia. It's our hope to get positive confirmation on that in the near future.
Initially, Riggio was hoping to keep the school and basketball program intact. Once the school was sold in the fall, Riggio sought a place where he could continue in the Milford area. He was unsuccessful in that bid.
Should any new information come to light on any of the other ex-Milford players, we will pass it along.
