Miles Talks About Visit To Kansas

There was a time when Calvin "C.J" Miles had planned to take all five official visits before selecting one of the elite schools on his list, but it appears that those plans have changed. After returning home from his official visit to Kansas, the 6-foot-5, 195-pound small forward/shooting guard from Skyline High School in Dallas, Texas, indicated that he might be ready to make a decision after his visit to Arizona is complete.
“My visit to Kansas this weekend went real good," Miles said. "Keith Langford was my host and it was awesome spending time with him and all of the guys on the team. The basketball team has a lot of support from their fans and the community. 1,300 people showed up for a scrimmage on Saturday and chanted by name. The entire experience was just unbelievable.”

Miles, the No. 6 ranked small forward in the class of 2005, also indicated that he spent a great deal of time with Coach Bill Self. The Texas native was impressed with Coach Self and what he had to say about where he envisions Miles playing should he decide to attend Kansas.
“I did get to spend quite a bit of time with Coach Self during my visit,” Miles said. “My dad and I really enjoyed that. Coach Self and I talked about where he sees me fitting in should I decide to give a commitment to Kansas. It was also great to get a look at the entire campus. It was just a great experience and an outstanding weekend.
“I do know that I will take my visit to Arizona, but I don’t know if I will take any visits after that,” he added. “My official visit to Kansas will definitely be tough to beat. Everything about the visit was awesome.”
