Miles Schedules First Official Visit

After establishing himself as one of the top prep basketball players in the class of 2005, Skyline High School small forward/shooting guard Calvin "C.J" Miles is ready to take a step forward in his recruitment. The 6-foot-5, 195-pound Texas native has already scheduled one official visit for the month of September, and is in the process of setting up several others.
“Yes, I will take an official visit to Arizona during the weekend of September 10,” Miles said. “I also plan to visit Kansas, North Carolina and Georgia Tech as well. I don’t have specific dates for those final three visits, but they are definitely going to happen. I want to visit those four schools before making any decisions about my future.”

Miles, the No. 26 ranked player in the class of 2005, stated that two schools in particular have emerged as the teams to beat in his recruitment. It should come as no surprise that Miles plans to keep all of his options open, but he also admitted that two schools hold a slight edge over the others.
“I would say that Kansas is the leader right now,” Miles said. “Well, Kansas and Arizona are probably tied at the top of my list. “Kansas, Arizona and Georgia Tech are the schools that I really like. Those three schools have gone a great job recruiting me.
"Once I get back into town, I plan to start calling some coaches and will start to schedule more visits," he added. "I don't know what school I will visit after Arizona, but I do plan to start scheduling some visits."
