Miles Reschedules Official, In-Home Visits

Calvin "C.J." Miles was scheduled to officially visit Georgia Tech last weekend, but that visit never happened. The 6-foot-5, 195-pound small forward/shooting guard from Skyline High School in Dallas, Texas., was also planning to conduct in-home visits with coaches from Georgia Tech and Kansas, but those visits were also canceled as well. The No. 26 ranked player in the class of 2005 has rescheduled his visit to Georgia Tech, and will welcome a member of the Kansas coaching staff into his house on Tuesday evening.
“We had to reschedule our visit to Georgia Tech,” Calvin Miles, Sr. said. “We also had to reschedule some in-home visits. We have decided to take our official visit to Georgia Tech this weekend. Coach Bill Self will be coming to our home tonight for an in-home visit. We have not rescheduled our in-home visit with Georgia Tech just yet, but I am sure that will happen in the future.”

After receiving a great deal of interest from the likes of Arizona, North Carolina, Kansas, Texas, Georgia Tech and a handful of other high major institutions, Miles decided to trim his list of schools down to three. The No. 4 ranked player in the state of Texas intends to take two more official visits before making a decision about his future.
“We have already been to Kansas for an official visit,” Mr. Miles said. “We plan to visit Georgia Tech this weekend and Texas during the weekend of their Midnight Madness. I believe that weekend falls on October 16. Once those visits are complete, we will sit down as a family and make a decision.
“It all starts tonight with our in-home visit with Coach Self,” he added. “We have quite a few questions to ask him. We would like to know where he sees C.J. fitting in and what type of role he might play. We just plan to take one step at a time and go from there.”
