Miles Reschedules Georgia Tech Visit

Calvin "C.J" Miles, the 6-foot-5, 195-pound small forward/shooting guard from Skyline High School in Dallas, Texas, has seen a minor change take place in his recruitment. The No. 26 ranked player in the class of 2005 was supposed to be on the Georgia Tech campus this past weekend for an official visit, but bad weather conditions prevented that visit from taking place.
“We have decided to take our visit to Georgia Tech on October 8,” Calvin Miles Sr. said. “We had originally planned to visit the campus last weekend, but the weather wouldn’t allow that to happen. Coach (Paul) Hewitt was able to come to our house for a visit on Saturday, so that worked out very well.

“The in-home visit with Coach Hewitt was great,” he added. “He did a great job and we enjoyed the conversation and time we spent together. I know that C.J. is really looking forward to his visit to Georgia Tech next month.”
As it stands right now, Miles will visit Georgia Tech and Texas on back-to-back weekends before making a decision about his future. There is always a chance that the No. 6 ranked small forward in the class could select a school before then, but the plan is to visit both schools before making a decision.
“I really believe that both visits will take place, but anything is possible,” Mr. Miles said. “C.J. could be ready to decide after he returns home from Georgia Tech, but I have no idea of that will actually happen or not. I do know that he is planning to take both visits next month.
“I would say that Kansas and Texas are the leaders right now,” he added. “Kansas really did an outstanding job last week during their in-home visit with us. Texas has done a great job recruiting my son as well. C.J. has a tough decision to make, but when he feels the time is right to decide, he will do just that.”
