Miles Might Decide Before Final Visit

Calvin "C.J" Miles, the 6-foot-5, 195-pound shooting guard/small forward from Skyline High School in Dallas, Texas, is finally beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. The No. 26 ranked player in the class of 2005 is set to visit Georgia Tech on the weekend of October 8, and Texas the following weekend.
“Coaches’ from Kansas, Texas and Georgia Tech have been to our house for in-home visits,” Calvin Miles, Sr. said. “Coaches’ from all three schools have been to the gym to watch my son practice. C.J. needs to take some more visits before he is ready to make his decision about a school.

“I do know that he was really impressed with his visit to Kansas,” he added. “The coaching staff and players did a great job and C.J. enjoyed spending time with all of them.”
If the No. 4 ranked player in the state of Texas decides to take his final two visits, a decision about his future will be known shortly after his official visit to Texas is complete. Mr. Miles stated that his son might be ready to make a decision before the visit to Texas ever takes place.
“We do plan to take visits to Georgia Tech and Texas, but C.J. might be ready to pop after his visit to Georgia Tech is finished,” Mr. Miles said. “I really don’t believe that he could make a decision today if he was forced to. C.J. really wants to spend time on another campus.”
There was a time when it looked like the Kansas Jayhawks were the overwhelming team to beat, but that is no longer the case.
"I would say that Kansas and Texas are the top teams," Mr. Miles said. "Both coaches' have done a great job recruiting my son. Both schools offer C.J. the opportunity of playing close to home."
