Miles Is Ready To Make A Decision

After taking official visits to Kansas, Georgia Tech and Texas, C.J. Miles is ready to make a decision about his future. The 6-foot-5, 195-pound small forward/shooting guard from Skyline High School in Dallas, Texas, will sit down with his father, Calvin Miles, Sr., later tonight and select one of the three remaining schools on his list.
“We left for Texas on Thursday and returned last night,” Mr. Miles said. “We attended the football game on Saturday and had the opportunity to meet Mack Brown. He is a great man and has done a great job with the football program at Texas.

“C.J. spent quite a bit of time hanging out with P.J. Tucker during his visit,” he added. “P.J. was his host and I know they had a great time. We also got a tour of the entire campus, the business center and the strength and conditioning facility. The main purpose of the visit was to get a complete look at the entire campus, so I feel good about what we saw.”
Now that Miles has completed all three official visits, the No. 26 ranked player in the class of 2005 is ready to make a final decision about his future. Aside from taking visits to Kansas, Georgia Tech and Texas, Miles and his family have spent a great deal of time with members of each coaching staff.
“C.J. and I will sit down tonight and make a decision on a school,” Mr. Miles said. “After the final decision is made, we will hold a press conference on Tuesday afternoon. We have more than enough information about each school to make the best possible decision. We will decided tonight and let the public know of our decision on Tuesday.”
