Miles hopes to stay close to home

Since achieving a qualifying test score back in December, Isaac Miles has become of the most heavily recruited players left on the board. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound shooting guard from Bishop Miege High School in Shawnee Mission, Kan., recently took two unofficial visits and would like to remain in state once his school career is complete.
"I took a visit to Missouri State on Sunday," said Miles. "I was able to attend the game against Wichita State, took a tour of the campus, met some of the members of the coaching staff and talked to them for quite a while. It was a great visit and I enjoyed spending time with the coaching staff.

"I also attended the Missouri game on Monday night," he added. "They played the Kansas Jayhawks and it was an awesome game. It was probably the loudest game that I have ever attended. After the game, I went to the locker room and talked to Coach Quin Snyder. It was just an awesome experience."
While Miles, the three-star prospect, is extremely high on Missouri and Missouri State, there is no doubt that he is going to consider all of his options before making a decision about his future.
The 6-foot-2, 185-pound point guard indicated that he would like to remain close to home after high school, but also made it perfectly clear that he is going to take some official visits before me selects a school.
"Virginia, Maryland, Missouri State, Missouri, Kansas, Creighton, Colorado, UNLV and a bunch of other schools are recruiting me pretty hard right now," said Miles. "I would like to take official visits to schools like Virginia, Creighton, Missouri, Colorado and UNLV. I don't know if I will officially visit all of those schools, but those are some of the schools that I have an interest in visiting."
Until the time comes for Miles to make a final decision about his future, he is going to concentrate on his senior season at Bishop Miege. The season has not started like Miles had originally expected, but things appear to be turning around for the best.
"We just lost a tough game to St. Thomas Aquinas," said Miles. "We are 8-5 overall, but we are becoming a better team. I am playing the point guard position and trying to get my teammates involved in the game as much as possible. As far as my performance goes, I am averaging 25-points, eight assists and 7-8 rebounds per game."
