Mike Lasme Withdraws His Commitment

Mike Lasme, an athletic 6-0, 187-point guard from Life Center Academy in Burlington, New Jersey, has withdrawn his verbal commitment to Massachusetts. "I just didn't think it was the right school for me now," Lasme said. "So I have opened up my recruiting."

Lasme had committed to Massachusetts before the July evaluation period began. He recently took an official visit to Massachusetts and it appears that it was not what he hoped for.

Lasme told us he has decided to open up his recruiting process. He will have an in home visit with Mississippi State tomorrow night. He has also heard from Colorado, West Virginia, Clemson, and Auburn. "I am willing to speak to any school," said Lasme, who also contacted Seton Hall to see if the Pirates are interested.
